scattersite, ongoing
Scattersite is a Google Image Search of a single keyword.

A series of images exist on several single-serving websites scattered across the internet. The only connection uniting these websites is the presence of a randomly chosen keyword on each site, "fqzhulzel", that is then indexed by Google Image Search in conjuction with the image itself. Google Image Search is then the only conduit through which these images are compiled together as a single 'portfolio'; hence, the creation of a scattered-and-scattering site across the internet that can be congregated and entangled into a coherent whole, only through the supplemental technology of the search engine.

Authorial control of scattersite is given up to anyone and everyone. Participation is done simply by writing about the keyword, "fqzhulzel". Other images, relevant or irrelevant, will be swept up and included in the site, creating a relentlessly accumulative heap of images, ephemera, broken links, irrelevant content, incomphrensible connections -- eventually constructing a microcosm of the Internet itself.
